Boiler flues

Boiler flues are vital accessories for boiler and heating systems. The boiler flue is a chimney that is used to remove waste gases created by the boiler during the combustion process. These waste gases are mostly Carbon Dioxide and steam which need to be correctly extracted from the property.

It must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Depending on the manufacturer, the joints must be accessible for inspection and secured with brackets and screws at the joints, if any.

Vertical flues going up through a loft are susceptible to damage when 'chucking' stuff up into the loft, so ensure that the flue is secured properly to avoid this.
